Our Birthday Adventures at Sky Zone Trampoline Park

There's nothing more exciting, for a kid, than their birthday. Weeks, even months in advance, the "I want this for my birthday" begins. Every commercial they see, every toy and game they point out in the store, goes on to my "mental list" of things to buy. (that I will never ever in a million years remember) Birthdays are always a big deal around here and we always go all out, only to have Mom ask "Wait, what the hell just happened here?!" at the end of it all.

Seriously, there has been more than once that I have had to call my girlfriend and ask her if she has any good pictures of my kid's party, because I was too busy doing games or handing out punch to even enjoy the party, but not this year! This year, I left all the hard work up to Sky Zone Franklin.

So, what exactly is Sky Zone? Sky Zone is the world's first indoor trampoline park. It combines the best of fun and exercise into one awesome "off the wall" activity. This was our first time experiencing Sky Zone, but it definitely won't be our last. The kids had a blast and I actually got to sit down and enjoy the party. Double score!

There are several different areas at Sky Zone, in which to get your jump on. You can check out the free jump area, the foam pit, the slam dunk basketball area, the virtual dodge ball game or for the really daring, you can meet up with your friends for an actual game of ultimate dodge ball. My favorite thing about the party was the lack of cleaning up I had to do. There were no dirty dishes to wash, no cups, plates and assorted junk to clean up, nothing. We showed up, we partied and we left. It was AMAZING!!!

Included with our party package was our very own party hostess. She was a really sweet girl and could not have been more helpful if she tried. She  kept me on schedule and even let me know when our jump time was almost over, so I could try to wrangle the kids. She also set up the entire party room from the cups and plates to handing out the pizza, cake and drinks.

After we chowed down on the pizza that was included in our party package, we got down to the best part of any party... the gifts. We are very fortunate to have really good friends and family who showed up to help us celebrate Micah's fifth birthday and thanks to Sky Zone, it was a memorable event for all who were there, as you can see, in this most epic of funny faced pictures.
