DISCLAIMER: I was provided with a prize pack, in exchange for sharing this giveaway and promo with my readers. However, all opinions & pictures are my own. If you've been reading my blog for any amount of time, you have probably noticed that my family demographic is a little wonky. In what most would consider a traditional family, children are fairly close in age, which I assume would probably make things much easier. I bet you could even do "in house hand me downs" directly from child to child. If only. My family is a little different. My children are (oldest to youngest) 16 years apart. Yes, Steven was 16, when I had Micah. I was 35 and it was a huuuuge surprise to say the least. Hubby and I have been together for 14 years and were told my baby making factory was (probably) out of commission, so we never really thought babies were a possibility and never "took precautions", but here we are, (almost) four years later and my life has not been the same. Having kids so different in age has presented me with a few "challenges". There was the time that my (then 15) year old daughter was mistaken for Micah's Mom. Luckily I wasn't there at the time, or else I surely would've been "Grandma". Kill me NOW! Then there was the other 500 times Kaylee was mistaken for Micah's Mom. It happens a lot! It has also made things a little difficult at home. Since we all live together, things can get a bit heated at times. The older kids are usually pretty good about including Micah, but sometimes they just want a minute, away from their 3 yr old brother. It can be kind of hard to find activities that are suitable for the whole family. The big kids don't want to sit down and finger paint, but Micah is too little to play some of the Xbox or Playstation games his "Ubbu" does, so my compromise... Board games! Board games are good, clean, age appropriate fun for the entire family! The little one got "Candyland" and "Hi Ho Cherry Oh" for Christmas last year and besides the fact that he's a raging cheater, they have been lots of fun. He is not too keen on the whole "waiting for others to take their turn" thing, but he's trying. Throughout the month of June, Ryan’s, HomeTown Buffet and Old Country Buffet are partnering with Hasbro again for an exclusive Family Night promotion. Every Thursday night in June from 5 to 8 p.m., families who dine at any of the restaurants will receive a themed activity sheet which includes a coupon for a 10% discount from www.HasbroToyShop.com. The activities include tie-ins to family-favorite board games like Trouble, Sorry, Battleship and Operation. Who doesn’t love those classic games?! In celebration of #FamilyGameNight, I am giving away a fun prize pack, including the classic games, "Trouble" & "Sorry", as well as a family four pack of passes to any Ryan's, Old Country Buffet or Hometown restaurant. For your chance to win, check out the easy entry form below... Good Luck!

We love to play outside. Be it in the pool or swing set and just running around the yard.
