Henry is a typical young boy. He loves to be mean to his younger brother, he loves to hang out with his friends, he loves to rock out... and he HATES school. Henry, like most kids, despises homework and avoids it at all cost, which is a seemingly minor infraction... until it sets off a very unfortunate series of events involving some corrupt school officials, that result in his teacher being fired and his school being shut down. This would seem like an answered prayer, only Henry is sent off to a private all girls school across town. All hope is lost until Henry decides to do the right thing and try to fix the mess his selfish actions have caused. Henry accidentally teams up with his arch rival, a hateful little girl known as Moody Margaret. Together, they devise a plan to sneak in to and win the school talent show {which Henry is banned from}, become famous, fix the mess and save the school that Henry swears to hate. Follow Henry as he outwits the bad guys, overturn some corrupt school officials, wins a talent contest, redeems himself and learns that being a kid really "ain't that bad" This is a really fun movie for kids of all ages, even "parent-aged" kids. It is very Little Rascals-esque, if the Little rascals were british and lived in 2012. Horrid Henry is a fun tale of bad boy turned good, It is a story about redemption and hope and most of all fun. Angelica Houston delivers a hilarious performance as the dreaded teacher Ms. Battle-axe. She is funny, mean and in the end a very unlikely ally. The title character, Horrid Henry is very well played by new child actor, Theo Stevenson. He is very believable and loveable and does a great job in the role of Henry. Horrid Henry: The Movie, from Kaboom Ent., is based on a series of popular children's books by Francesca Simon. The movie will be available in a super cool "slime Pack" {as pictured above} exclusively at Wal-Mart stores nationwide beginning March 12, 2013.
It is a limited release, so you better grab it quick if you don't want to miss it. While you're at Wal-mart, grab a pizza, some drinks and popcorn and make it a family movie night. After the movie's over, pop the disk into the computer and download the activity kit. Your kids might not remember every brand name shirt or pair of pants you bought them, but they WILL remember family movie night!

I have this movie- now I was very surprised that there appeared to be some swearing in this movie which I would like to bring to the directors attention!
