Fun Spring Craft For Kids: Hatching Baby Chicks

  How adorable are these sweet little baby chicks?! I am a huge sucker for any baby animal, real or of the chenille variety.

  Micah and I had so much fun making these cute, little, hatching chicks and it made for the perfect opportunity to teach him about Spring, recycling and new beginnings.

What You Need:

• Clean/Dry Egg shells
• Chenille Chicks
• Easter Grass
• Hot Glue Gun

Directions:

  There really is no right or wrong way to do this, you simply glue the grass into the egg and then glue the chick onto the grass.  My only tip would be, make sure the egg shells are very clean and dry, salmonella is NOT a fun Springtime gift.
