DISCLOSURE: As a Fabkids blogger, I received complimentary outfits to facilitate this post, however all opinions are my own. When the folks over at Fabkids.com issued me the challenge to style one shirt 5 ways, I wasn't sure I could pull it off, then I saw all the cool new picks and I knew it would be a piece of cake. What I didn't realize however, is how hard it would be to get a three year old to "pose" for pictures. What is Fabkids?! Fabkids is your one stop shop for all the coolest kid's clothes, sizes 2-12. They have everything from tops and pants to socks and jackets and everything in between. With your monthly subscription, you will get a two piece outfit for only $29.95 (single items start at just $14.95) and you get free shipping on all orders over $49 and for a limited time, you can score your first outfit for 50% off, making it only $14.95, so what are you waiting for?! Go snag an awesome Fabkids outfit, but check out these adorable pictures of Micah first. For the purpose of this "1 shirt, 5 looks" challenge, I chose this awesome "My 15 Minutes of Fame" layered look shirt and paired it with different pants and a cool jacket to finish it off. This look shows the shirt paired with the Red Pop Color Knit Pants, which are great for play. They feature an elastic waistband, two functional zipper pockets and have a skinny fit at the bottom of the leg with a banded cuff that perfectly matches the blue in the shirt. (laser gun sold separately) This is the same shirt and pants as pictured above, with the addition of the Metallic Baseball Jacket. This super cool lightweight jacket is perfect for transitioning into spring and features two front pockets and a cool silver metallic color that looks really neat with the light lime green sleeves. I am so in love with this funky little outfit. I saw these Banana Print Chinos and I knew I had to have them for Micah. He is such a little ham and I knew if anyone could "pull off" banana pants, it would be him. These fun twill chinos feature a slouchy skinny fit and have the adjustable waistband I love so much and they match the blue trim on the shirt perfectly. (Pay no mind to the library being built in my back yard) This outfit is another one of my faves. It features theContrast Denim Pants and the Metallic Baseball Jacket. These jeans are so amazingly cool. They have a pre-rolled cuff and of course, the adjustable waistband I can not live without and they also have a funky green stitching that really pops when you pair it with the green jacket. This picture shows the look described above, but it better shows the detail in the stitching and the cuff at the bottom of the leg. I know this challenge is supposed to be "1 shirt, 5 looks", but my model got a little "divalicious", so we had to call off our shoot, before I could get him to put on the last look, but if you can, imagine the shirt, paired with this adorable pair of grey Skinny Cargos along with the baseball jacket. And there you have it, my interpretation of Fabkids' "1 shirt, 5 looks" challenge.
