A little over a year ago, my husband and I were "lucky" enough to be able to remodel our old, non functional, outdated kitchen. It was so much fun, I loved being able to go to the home improvement store and pick out the flooring, the sink, the fixtures, the stain, the paint color, the knobs... the whole nine yards. I designed this kitchen from top to bottom and it was an amazing experience... at first! Then we ran into the typical problems that people run into when dealing with contractors as well as some unforeseen problems with the slab and it being uneven and the walls not being square and a whole slew of "scheduling" conflicts... Apparently the contractor's 9 to 5 job schedule conflicted with his "contractoring" job schedule... Yeah, it was totally a blast, NOT!!! Nevertheless, it got done and now that it's finished, I absolutely love it! One of my favorite things about having a new kitchen is that it's so much easier to keep clean, which is a major plus for me. Since I had spinal fusion surgery to repair severe degenerative disk disease, I have had a really hard time doing some of the more strenuous household chores, like vacuuming, scrubbing the tubs and mopping the floors. Anything that requires a lot of bending, stooping or leaning, proves to be very difficult for me. Due to this limitation, unfortunately, I am usually only able to do a quick spot mop in the kitchen and usually only when I spill stuff. I have tried several different things to make mopping easier, but haven't really found an option I really found to be an acceptable alternative ... ...until now... Meet the Bona Stone, Tile and Laminate Mop, AKA My New Best Friend. As soon as I got the mop, I got busy putting it together, which was super easy, I didn't even have to read the instructions. You click the top into the bottom, attach the swivel head, insert the solution canister and Viola... You have a mop! I was so excited to try out my new mop. I was dying to see if I was actually going to be able to get my floors clean with it, without killing myself... and I was. Features of the Bona Mop
Summary I am super happy with this mop! I love how light and easy to use it is and the fact that the canister is refillable is a major bonus. I love how easily it glides over my floors with very little effort on my part. I feel like my floors are really clean and I didn't even have to break my back to get them that way. The $39.99 price tag makes it a great investment piece to add to your cleaning arsenal. I know forty bucks can seem like a lot of money sometimes, but the amount of pain I have saved myself is definitely worth the price. If you have back problems, or know someone who does, I highly suggest this Bona mop. The proof is in the picture! My floors haven't been this clean since they were put down last year. Now for the really good stuff... The great folks at Bona floor care have graciously offered to give one of you lucky readers a Bona mop of your very own... Winner's choice...
