Disclaimer: This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Warner Bros. All thoughts and opinions are my own. Having been a Mom to two boys for the past eighteen years, there are a few things I learned along the way. I learned that boys are super messy, so be prepared for tons of extra laundry. I learned that boys love to collect random rocks from the neighbor's driveway. {I learned this after I washed the aforementioned dirty laundry without checking the pockets} I learned that boys are the reason why the Band-Aid company stays in business, we're going on our fourth skinned knee of the week with the little one. I learned that little boys LOVE their mothers with a special kind of love that is akin to that of a fat kid and his cake. I also learned that any red cup towel or receiving blanket + a clothes pin = a Superman cape. The boys and I were at our local Walmart last week when it happened. We were innocently shopping for summer clothes for the little one, I rounded the corner and I saw it, right between electronics and the clothes... The huge "Man of Steel" display complete with everything from DVD's, posters and cups to T shirts and even capes, yes, they have grown-up sized Superman capes for sale. I tried to steer away quickly before Micah saw it, but it was too late. His eyes locked-on to the display and of course, he had to check it out. It got kind of scary for a minute, he was grabbing stuff with both hands and knocking things off the display, but in the end, I brokered a nice deal with Micah... a pair of Superman PJ's, in exchange for his added efforts in the potty training department. In case you don't know, because you've been living in a cave without access to TV, the new Superman movie, "Man of Steel", {PG13} is set to debut in just a few days.
