Click on the image below to download your very own coloring pages and don't forget to pick up a copy of "LITTLEST PET SHOP: Little Pets, Big Adventures" on January 15th. This time of year there's usually at least one sick family member in my house.
Whether it's a cough or a snotty nose or a stomach bug, there's almost always something going around, so I have invested in a large array of anti bacterial products, Lysol, bleach and the like. I was so excited when I recently had the opportunity to check out some cool products from the nice folks at safeHands. They sent me a collection of their safeHands and their line of products for kids, safeSquirts. As I was "trying" to take pics of this recipe, the little one had other plans....This is what I was trying to shoot.......This is what I got.....As you can see, the kids love these yummy homemade hot pockets.I love that they're easy. You can use almost anything you have handy as filling.Last night I used some leftover ham with swiss cheese and I made some breakfast hot pockets using leftover sausage. You can also use a spoon-full of pizza sauce, pepperoni and mozzarella cheese and I also like using left over roast beef with cheddar cheese. All you need is a can of flaky biscuits and some kind of meat and cheese for the filling.Take the can of biscuits and separate each one of them in half, as if you were going to spread butter on them.Roll the biscuit out til it's about twice the original size. You can do this by hand too instead of using a rolling pin, it's way faster this way.Fill half of the biscuit with the filling & cheese then pinch the edges closed.Bake according to the biscuit directions.Enjoy! These hot pockets will freeze well also, so you can make a big batch for use throughout the week. The sausage filled breakfast pockets are a huge hit with my boys, simply heat 'em up, serve with a little bit of grape jelly and you're done!I hope you enjoy this time saving recipe.Glitzsee |
