With the Football season in full effect and the Holidays closing in quickly, I have been scouring the interwebs for yummy recipes to serve my guests, that don't cost a small fortune or take all day to make. I found this recipe for "Ultimate Party Meatballs" on the Heinz website and I knew I had to try it. It looked super easy and fool-proof, especially since it utilizes Johnsonville's pre-cooked, frozen meatballs. (I couldn't find them at my local store, so I used fresh Johnsonville Italian sausage and it turned out great) The recipe is super easy and can be adapted to use the stove top or crock pot. The taste is reminiscent of the old school "wedding meatballs" we are all so used to, with a festive touch. The chili sauce and cranberries compliment each other well and the rich taste of the sausage is perfect in this dish. If you like easy, yummy, game day recipes, this is definitely the one for you!
