WARNING: This post contains adult themes, if you are easily offended by PG-13 sexy talk or you are my Mom, you might want to skip this post. People often ask me how I do it. How do I still have such a great relationship with my hubby after thirteen years of marriage and my answer is always the same... We communicate well, we laugh a lot (sometimes at each other), he's a great guy, an amazing Dad, a great provider and an amazing lover. Yes, even after all these years, we still have a good sex life. I admit, It's not easy, it requires work, but it is possible. I used to be one of those people who said "Sex doesn't really matter all that much". You know who says crap like that.. people who aren't gettin' any good lovin' at home. Sex is very important to a healthy relationship, it strengthens the emotional bond between partners, it gives us women a chance to take time out for ourselves, it can even help you lose weight, but finding the time to "get it in" is not as easy as one might think. With all the things women have to do during the day, cooking, cleaning, shuttling kids back and forth to and from school, errands, work, paying bills and probably umpteen more things on any given day, sex can often fall by the wayside, but it doesn't have to be that way. With FreshnSexy wipes, you can let your freak flag fly, anytime, anywhere and feel confident while doing it. (you might wanna check your states laws before gettin' freaky in public places) I admit, preferably, I like to be freshly showered before engaging in any kind of "up close and personal" contact, but sometimes, you just get that perfect opportunity, (on a Saturday afternoon, when the baby is sleeping) to get a little "grown up time" and for those times, I like to know that I have FreshnSexy wipes. When time is of the essence and you can't spare the extra ten minutes for a full shower, do the next best thing, grab a Fresh+Sexy wipe, some deodorant, a spritz of perfume, a breath mint and go get your sexy on! The scene... Hubby surprises you with dinner at your favorite sushi place. The meal is finished, the bill is paid, you're on the way home, hubby accidentally grazes your thigh as he reaches for the gear shift, your eyes meet, he has that look on his face, you glance at your watch, it's only 8:30, you realize the baby sitter is paid up for another hour and a half... aren't you glad you have freshness in the clutch?! FreshnSexy wipes are available at your local WalMart store for less than six dollars a box... talk about getting a lot of bang for your buck. Making the time to reconnect with your spouse is essential to having a good relationship, even if you have to sneak it in, when and where you can. (no pun intended)

DISCLOSURE: I was provided with complimentary tickets for myself and my family to attend this event and I was also allotted 2 sets of 4 tickets for giveaway purposes, in exchange for sharing this post with you. I was not financially compensated for this post. The opinions I express herein (<snazzy huh?) are my own. Who has two thumbs and just became the best Mom in the whole wide world?! *points awkwardly at self with thumbs* This chic right here! Yep, I just scored tickets to take the kids to the Nashville performance of Disney On Ice: Princesses and Heroes at the Bridgestone Arena. I haven't been to anything on ice since I was just a kid, so to say that i am super excited is understatement. I haven't told the girl yet, so as not to ruin the surprise. Besides she would only say she's "too old" or "too cool" to go, all the while secretly texting her bestie telling her she "just has to go with us" that's the awesome thing about Disney on Ice, it's fun for kids of all ages, even teenage girls who are only going "so they can help out with their little brother". Check out these awesome pics of past shows... "Come experience the magic of Disney when Disney On Ice presents Princesses & Heroes comes to Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Oct. 3–6. Ariel, Belle, Cinderella, Rapunzel, Tiana, Jasmine, Aurora and Snow White all appear to celebrate the tales of romance and heroism through artistic skating and acrobatics.
Produced by Feld Entertainment, Disney On Ice presents Princesses & Heroes is performing a total of eight shows. With the help of the magical pixie Tinker Bell, the Disney Princesses embark on the adventure of a lifetime. Jasmine discovers a whole new world with Aladdin after meeting her unlikely hero in the marketplace. Prince Philip defeats the evil fire-breathing dragon Maleficent in a race to save his true love Aurora. Prince Eric breaks Ursula’s spell so that Ariel can remain part of his world. Rapunzel, Tiana, Cinderella, Belle and Snow White also find happiness in this beautifully imagined ice show." “Science is the key to our future, and if you don’t believe in science, then you’re holding everybody back." ********************************************* "When we see the shadow on our images, are we seeing the time 11 minutes ago on Mars? Or are we seeing the time on Mars as observed from Earth now? It's like time travel problems in science fiction. When is now; when was then?" Bill Nye "Learn from yesterday, live for today, hope for tomorrow. The important thing is not to stop questioning." ************************************************* "When you are courting a nice girl an hour seems like a second. When you sit on a red-hot cinder a second seems like an hour. That's relativity." ************************************************* "Imagination is more important than knowledge." Albert Einstein "Where there is no vision, there is no hope." ************************************************ "Ninety-nine percent of the failures come from people who have the habit of making excuses." ************************************************* "Since new developments are the products of a creative mind, we must therefore stimulate and encourage that type of mind in every way possible." George Washington Carver What do all these dudes have in common, besides being especially handsome and witty... SCIENCE! They all know that science is where it's at, they know that science is all around us, all the time. From the second you wake up, until the time your head hits the pillow at night, science is all up in your face. Your alarm clock, science made that. The weather forecast you listen to, in the morning, to decide whether to go fishing or to work... yep, science. The pavement you travel on, you guessed it, SCIENCE! Without science, we'd be nowhere, literally, we'd be living in huts on the side of mountains eating peanut butter sandwiches... Wait, nope, scratch that, there's science in hut building and peanut butter sandwich making too. Did you know there's so much science in a tiny little peanut that if there were one more ounce of science in there, it would be so large that even a giant couldn't lift it... Ok, maybe I'm hyperbolizing just a smidge... Ok, I'm lying, but science doesn't lie. Seriously, peanuts really are nature's tiny miracle. Look at all the good stuff packed in one tiny, little peanut... Vitamin B6, Magnesium, Potassium, fiber and even Niacin, which is super important for good skin health. I don't know about you, but I'm kind of fond of my skin and if I can keep it happy just by eating a few peanuts, by all means, I'm gonna do it, because there's nothing worse than having angry skin on your hands. (see what I did there?) That's not just my opinion, that's a fact and that's exactly why science works... FACTS! Science is made up of facts, not a bunch of people guessing at what might be the answer or maybe could be right, not a few smart guys throwing darts at a board, not a bunch of smart guys reading tea leaves or some other nonsense. NO, Science is nothing but a bunch of facts and you really can't argue with facts, now can you?! So do your mind, body and spirit a favor and throw a little bit of science in your mouth. You can read my full disclosure HERE. Some of my most memorable Birthdays and Christmases, were the ones that included a beautiful piece of jewelry. I remember the year I got my first herringbone necklace, I was 16 and it was the only thing I asked for. I wore that necklace until it literally fell off. With this in mind, I knew when I started looking for gifts for Kaylee's Sweet 16, I had to get one nice piece of jewelry, preferably something that she might one day be able to pass down to her own daughter. I asked around to a few of my blogger buddies and they all suggested I check out Blue Steel.
