Can you believe it?! The Berenstain Bears are turning fifty!
Mama, Papa, Sister and Brother Bear have been entertaining kids for the past 50 years and are still going strong. Known for their strong family values and country living, the Berenstains continue to be a favorite of kids and parents everywhere. With their fun stories and educational life lessons, the Berenstains prove that their old fashioned values still ring true today. This is a sponsored post written by me, on behalf of Campus Bellhops It's hard to believe that at this time next month I will officially be the proud mother of a high school graduate. When I sent Steven off to school for the first time, all those years ago, I dreamed of what this day would be like. It's been a long, sometimes bumpy ride, but I would not change it for a million bucks. Steven has put in lots of hard work, he's had fun times and not-so-fun times, he's made friends and lost them and he's gained a wealth of knowledge that will {hopefully} prepare him for this next phase of his life... COLLEGE.
Going off to college is a huge step in a young person's life. It means that they are one step closer to becoming a full-fledged adult. College can be an exciting time in a kid's life, between the endless parties, new found freedom and trying to balance classes with holding down a job, but before you can even begin to experience all those things, you have to figure out where you will live... on campus or off and if you decide to live on campus, how will you get all your stuff up all those flights of stairs? If you're lucky enough to live in an off campus apartment, you still have to figure out how to get all your stuff moved in. Hiring a moving company can cost a small fortune and let's face it, college is expensive enough as it is without having to worry about paying an arm & a leg to some moving company. Wouldn't it be nice if there was a way to get all your stuff moved in/out of your dorm without having to take out a lien on your house or sell a kidney... There IS! Micah's Visit To The Chicken Coop The middle school behind our house has an amazing community garden complete with a huge chicken coop and lots of cool chickens, Micah and I like to go up there and check on them from time to time.
{every day if he had his way} This recipe is actually pretty easy, other than being a bit time consuming hand rolling the gnocchi and cleaning up all the flour on the counter.
I recently inherited this 30 gallon aquarium from a friend of ours and as soon as I saw it, I knew what must be done... I must turn it into a SpongeBob themed tank for the kids {but mainly myself}
